Everytime I apply mascara, by the end of the day my eyes start to BURN LIKE HELL. It’s like the mascaras getting into my eye or something. When I laugh, my eyes tear up and I guess it blends with the mascara and gets into my eye but sometimes when I don’t event ear up it burns. And it’s not the mascara because I’ve tried like 4 different brands and types. Any tips? Thanks!
It probably IS the mascara. Look for a good hypo-allergenic brand. (Neutrogena makes one that’s pretty gentle, and so does Mary Kay.) Also, avoid waterproof mascaras, because they seem to contain more irritants than other mascaras. Last of all, mascara can harbor bacteria. Keep your mascara wand as clean as possible, and replace your mascara AT LEAST every six months, even if you haven’t used it all.
I just bought Define a Lash by Maybelline but havent opened it yet… I wanted to hear your opinions first! Would I get volume with this mascara or just really long lashes? which mascara would u recommend (Maybelline/Cover Girl brands) to achieve a really thick look w/ no clumps or spider leg look?
cover girl mascaras never worked too great for me.
maybelline volume express turbo boost is what you want for thick lashes without the clumps. try the 7Xs turbo boost. $5 it’s my second favorite volumizing mascara after mark (by avon) make it big volumizing mascara. $6

Usually if you go to the Clinique counter or Estee Lauder, you can try some samples from the makeup artist. I always tell them if I like a product that I want to try it for a couple days, so they give me some samples. If I like it, then I go back and buy it.
